We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

Terms and Conditions

  1. General
    The headings in these conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.
  2. Payment Options
    Since all products from tradeblindsdirect.co.uk are custom made to your specifications, all orders are paid for when your order is placed. Visa, Mastercard, Switch & Maestro are accepted online. Cheques, postal orders etc must be sent to us before your order is started. All orders paid by cheque will require a holding period for your cheque to clear before the order will be put into production.
  3. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
    Because our products are custom made to your exact specifications, they are not suitable for resale by us, therefore, it is important that you are sure of your purchase decisions prior to placing your order. We send your order details to the factory and automatically charge your credit card for the total sale price, immediately after you complete your online order. Unless there is a delay in placing your order because we need additional information from you, an order received from you for in stock materials before 4:00 pm will normally begin production within 12 hours.
    On extremely rare occasions there may be delays caused by out-of-stock materials, shipping delays, temporary factory overload, holidays, or other factors beyond our control. In the event of a known delay, you will be contacted that day.
  4. Discontinued and/or Back Ordered Items
    tradeblindsdirect.co.uk has no control over materials that are discontinued or placed on backorder by the various manufacturers. tradeblindsdirect.co.uk will make every effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made aware of them and will notify you whenever we receive notice of any backorders.
  5. VAT
    All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
  6. Inspection of Merchandise
    IMPORTANT: Inspect your blinds as soon as you receive them and notify tradeblindsdirect.co.uk immediately of any damages in shipment. Also, please check to make sure that the products you ordered were made exactly as you specified when you ordered them. If you notify that tradeblindsdirect.co.uk the merchandise has been damaged in shipment or was made incorrectly within 48 hours days of the date that the merchandise is delivered to you, tradeblindsdirect.co.uk will have the damaged merchandise either repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
  7. Fixtures and Fittings
    All hardware is provided with the exception of screws. This is due to the fact that differing screws are needed in differing applications. The exact length and type of screw will vary depending on whether you are mounting your blinds into drywall, wood, concrete or metal. As a result we do not send mounting screws with your order.
  8. Force Majeure
    TradeBlindsDirect shall be under no liability to the Customer in any way whatsoever for destruction, damage, delay or any other matters of any nature whatsoever arising out of war, rebellion, civil commotion, strikes, lock outs and industrial disputes, fire explosion, earthquake, act of God, flood, draught or bad weather, the unavailability or late delivery of supplies, inability to secure labour or requisitioning or other act or order by any Government department, Council or other duly constituted body.
  9. Product Guarantee
    Goods purchased from TradeBlindsDirect carry a five-year guarantee. If the Goods cease to function from the date of purchase as a result of daily, domestic use, with due care and attention taken whilst operating, TradeBlindsDirect will replace or repair the Goods. If there is a fault with the Goods, they must be returned, properly packaged, for repair or replacement. TradeBlindsDirect will arrange for the Goods to be collected from the Customer by a carrier for return, but cannot make site visits to repair or replace the Goods in situ.
  10. Product Changes
    The policy of TradeBlindsDirect is one of continuous improvement; TradeBlindsDirect therefore reserves the right, without notice to change designs or specifications of all our Goods described and or shown on this website, or temporarily withdraw Goods from it.
  11. English Law
    Any contract formed between by acceptance of the Customer's order shall be construed and governed in all respects according to English Law
